Privacy Policy

1. Scope.

This Policy applies to all personal-data processing activities carried out by HASHWORKSTECHNOLOGIES S.R.O. (registered in the Commercial Register under No. 22400681, with its registered office at Kurzova 2222/16, 155 00 Prague 5 – Stodůlky) through its platforms, websites and apps, and must be read together with our Cookie Policy available on those sites.

2. Controller and contact.

HASHWORKSTECHNOLOGIES S.R.O. acts as data controller for the personal data it processes in the context of the Services. A global Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed; you can reach the DPO at info@hashwtech.com (see also Section 10 “Exercise of rights”). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with no retroactive effect.

3. Personal data we collect.

(i) Data you provide: full name, e-mail address, postal address, telephone number, date of birth, identity documents, photos or video for identity verification (KYC), financial information (IBAN or card), survey responses and communications with support; (ii) Data collected automatically: IP address, device and cookie identifiers, browser type and version, operating system, platform-usage data (clicks, access logs, errors, response times), language preferences and time-zone settings; (iii) Data from third parties: public blockchain data (wallet addresses and transactions), results supplied by KYC/AML providers and information received from payment partners where necessary.

4. Purposes and legal bases.

We process your data to (a) create and maintain your account and process orders or transactions – contractual necessity; (b) comply with legal obligations on KYC/AML, tax and accounting – legal obligation / essential public interest; (c) provide customer support and service communications – contractual necessity / legitimate interest; (d) ensure security, detect fraud and manage risk – legitimate interest / legal obligation; (e) improve the Services and conduct internal analytics – legitimate interest; (f) carry out marketing and promotions where applicable – consent or legitimate interest for existing customers; and (g) organise events and surveys – contractual necessity or consent for promotional purposes.

5. Minors.

Our Services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age; if we become aware that we hold data relating to a minor, we will close the account and delete the information.

6. Cookies and similar technologies.

We use cookies to remember preferences, maintain secure sessions, compile statistics and, where legally required and with your prior consent, deliver advertising. You can manage cookies via the cookie banner or your browser settings.

7. How we share your data.

We share only the data strictly necessary with affiliates and suppliers providing technical support, hosting, identity verification, payment processing or analytics; with public authorities and courts where legally required; and with business partners where you request or consent (e.g., crypto-fiat conversion), always under contracts that ensure an adequate level of protection.

8. International transfers.

If we transfer data outside the EEA, we apply appropriate safeguards based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions or binding corporate rules, as applicable.

9. Information security.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access controls, multi-factor authentication, regular audits and incident-response plans.

10. Your rights.

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent at any time by sending a request – together with any necessary identity verification – to info@hashwtech.com.

11. Retention periods.

We keep data while your account remains active and as needed to deliver the Services, for the periods required by law (e.g., 5–10 years for accounting and anti-money-laundering purposes) and until related legal liabilities expire.

12. Changes to this Policy.

We may modify this Policy and will publish the updated version with a “Last updated” date; any material change will be notified by e-mail or in-platform notice, and continued use of the Services after the update constitutes acceptance of the new version.
